The job description

As an inside sales engineer you are the spider in the web for sales managers, internal organization and clients. You take care of the quotations to be offered, make calculations and act proactively both internally and externally to existing and potential new customers. You process orders and provide information about products, prices and the organization.

Your responsibilities

Your core tasks are:

  • Support the sales team in maintaining and expanding the business.
  • Maintaining close telephone and e-mail contact with customers and establishing new contacts in connection with marketing campaigns, (on-line) events and exhibitions.
  • Coordinating communication between the various departments internally and externally.
  • Ensure correct administration in the CRM and ERP system (Pipedrive and Exact Globe).
  • Monitoring the quality and lead time of promotions and customer questions, with the aim of optimizing the internal commercial organization and service to customers.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially skilled team player. You are naturally curious and you ensure that you are continuously informed of all new developments: internally, externally and in your field! In addition:

  • Completed HBO education in ICT, Technology or Business Administration with relevant work experience in the real estate sector or technical services.
  • Team player with positive ‘Can-do’ and hands-on mentality
  • You have knowledge and experience in the field of IoT solutions, (wireless) network infrastructures, building automation and/or smart building applications.
  • Good command of the Dutch language and English in word and writing
